8) one of many and wife fears leaving me alone
i just got this second hand outboard and the only i could test it was in my bath so when my missus went out to get the kids from school i went to fill the bath with water and left it to fill up while i came downstairs to come on iboats not noticing time passing all of a sudden the electric went so i went to see what the problem was and as i walked in to the kitchen it was raining from the ceiling well you can imagine my panic i ran upstairs to see the bath overflowing badly it went from the bathroom into the bedroom nearly reaching my daughters room and then i just threw every bit of cloth ,towels i could get my hands on,i had every pot, pan, cups on the floor in the kitchen to catch the water luckly most of it was coming threw the light fitting, five mins later in walks my wife to a torent of water coming from the ceiling and all she said was 'what have you done' all i could say was 'it was me' and asked her if she wanted a lifejacket well if looks could kill i wouldnt be telling you this story
it was that bad after we soaked up most of it we went out for a couple of hours for fish and chips while it dried up some more
wife now tells me not to do anything while shes out as shes afraid what she will come back to 8) 8)
