I think Powerquest was taken back by the bank a couple of years ago, but everything is finally being auctioned off on the 13th.

Local news. PowerQuest hits the auction block

I grew up outside of Holland, MI and was looking at working for them when it was the upstart "Powerplay Boats". Power Play out of Florida sued over the use of the name and Powerplay of Holland, MI lost and changed the name to Powerquest. It looks like it's been a rocky road till this conclusion.

It brings back memories. I had just graduated high school when Todd Kamps and Kevin Herdes started their first boat. It was all the talk in my circles back then in the early eighties. I think they were both a couple of years ahead of me at a rival high school.

My two cousins are in the rebuild/restore business. They may be at the auction with my shopping list.

I just added a 525 Merc with a Bravo One to my list when my cousins visit the auction.
