Anode stuck in cav plate

I got all the anodes off my Alpha 1 Gen 2 except the round one in the cavitation plate. The bolt came out no problem, but the anode itself is pretty stuck in there. Are there any tricks I could try to get it loose.

I already tried the socket extension with a hammer on the bolt head going down on the anode from the top. It won't budge.

Thanks!

Guessing its the round flat one that takes the place of the shark fin one? Reinstall the bolt a few threads and tap the bolt to free the plate

Save the oem bolt and use a longer one or a punch to drive it out

then get a bigger hammer
drill and tap the zinc for 3/8 x 16 thread and use 2 bolts as a press to force it out

Another idea.

Thread the bolt up from the bottom and tap the bolt head going around in circles. You need the break the corrosion to free the anode.

get a 3/8 x 10" bolt, thread it up in there as a handle and then use it to work the zinc back and forth to break it loose

I tried threading the bolt up from the bottom and then tapping with a hammer. That didn't work, but I don't really tap very hard. The drive is trimmed all the way up and I was afraid of stressing the trim rams.

Next time I'm at the boat, I'm going to first try tapping around the edges and then maybe try a longer bolt.

Ayuh,.... Hit it,.... Yer not gonna stress the rams nearly as much as the prop thrust does, everyday,....
