I'm restoring a 1967 Starcraft. All aluminum boat, and I'm about the add the foam and install the deck. I've heard people using SS screws to install the deck on the the aluminum stringers. However, SS causes problems with aluminum (so I've heard). I don't see how you install a wooden deck onto aluminum stringers without the SS screws coming in contact with the aluminum. Are you using rubber washers or something to insulated the two dissimilar metals? Some insight here, please.
