Another gloomy day

Well here it is raining AGAIN!! Have the day off and planned to go fishin but as usual Spinner sent the rain up thisaway. This is getting down right unreal, it rains every single weekend around these parts with a slight break here and there. The lakes are high and the color of chocolate milk and the cricks are swollen and full of debris. Whats a fisherman to do. <br /><br />Maybe a trip to Bass Pro would help

Sorry flathead, but I warned you, what I get you get so there you have it. <br /><br />Don't despair though for some nice days are on the way.<br />Your's should clear up this afternoon and have 4 or 5 good days.

Hey Flathead, don't feel like the Lone Ranger, its rained down here every day for the last two weeks. The grass in my yard is knee deep! ! ! We've had over 6 inches in the last couple days. Rain drops as big as Honey Dew melons. They say this weekend its suppose to let up. The sun is shining now.

Here on Long Island we have had 7 days without rain since March 1, 2003. <br /><br />That means in the past 90 days we've only had 7 days of sunshine. <br /><br />This could possibly be the wettest summer on record here. <br /><br />What a drag, boat is all dressed up with new canvas, new gauges on a new dash panel, new motor jack installed and had the tilt tube replaced, yet no where to go in the rain. <br /><br />Forecast is for rain until Monday! <br /><br />What a bummer! <br /><br /> It's SBN's fault!

Tried to make the trip to bass pro. About 2 1/2 hour drive from my place. Got on good old Pa. 476 and was a constant torrential downpour, could not see crap. This road was packed and people were flying like mad men. Its quite unbelievable how many people will risk their lives just to get to the destination a few minutes sooner. Needless to say I made it as far as media and turned it around and came home. Honestly I feel lucky to have made it in one piece. If Crabbait see's this he knows what I am talking about.<br /><br />Hey spinner I would like to order sunshine no humidity and 80 degrees next weekend if you please.

FLATHEAD,,when i first started on the casino job in AC,,, i was in a tavern , the famous 'iris pub' gettin' some grub,, watching the 6 o'clock news.. an the weather man 'HURRICANE SHWORTS' ,, you know,, the 'bow tie guy'.. <br /><br />he said ,, " this weather patteren ,, will last ( meanin' rain ) until june 23 .. then it'll clear an be the HOTTEST summer we had in eleven years.."<br /><br />everone at the bar was yellin' how the heell he knows that almost 6 weeks away,, he's crazy..!!<br /><br />but some how i knew he'd be right...<br />( anyone who wears a bow tie .. the little sucker's a weather geek..)<br /><br />and sure enuff that little cottonpicker was right ..!!! TO THE EXACT DAY...!!!<br /><br />AMAZIN',,,, JUST AMAZIN'..!!!
