My friends call me Bert (Rob, Robert is my name)
Daughters name is Kenedi
Wifes name is Kristi

Just one man's opinion here, but... You can't ask others to name your boat. The name has to come to you. Based on the boats personality, or how it makes you feel. You can do one of the clever names, that has 2 meanings, but IMO, it still needs to "fit". And no one can make a name fit but you. When I first towed my ugly old thing home and began the light restoration work it needed, the wife was calling it the "Turd" and "Lawn Art". I think it's sort of ugly, but in a cool retro way. I wanted to call it "Dry Heave". Since I was laid off when I got it, we were considering calling it "Unemployment Check". Since being out on it a few times, the wife is leaning towards "Old Faithful" because it's old and ran so well for us on the first voyage. (Which shocked her, frankly.) We still haven't struck on one that just seems to "Fit". Keep loving you boat, and a name will come to you.

Nice boat BTW.

Ya, if someone else names your boat it is always someone elses name.

I wanted to name mine and just kept it in the back of my head until one day it popped, the name had nothing to do with my occupation or family.

The radio was on in the background at work and Bob Segar came on singing Katmando, change a couple letters and I got CATMENDO, I catfish so it fit.

Evertime I hear the song now I want to head for the boat, I think I'm going to Catmendo....

Give it time, it will come to you.

I agree totally on that, It really should be you who names the boat, I named mine and it just was it!! That's what makes it your boat!!
