Another ohm question

Did the test to check the coil's resistance. Pertronix says that it has to be 1.5 or greater. When I did the test I came up with 1.6 and it would momentary jump to 1.7 every now and then. Is the ohm scale like the rector scale (a couple of decimal points greater means a big difference) or am I boarder line and should add a ballets resistor to be on the safe side?

Howdy, FSN.

You are fine. 1.6 is greater than 1.5, like the book says.

Analog Ohmmeters are logarithmic, like the Richter scale, but digitals are just. . . um.. . digital. :)
