I just dont understand. I just cleaned the carb out. float was missing needle, so i replaced it. now i can keep it running only if i pump the carb full of gas and then disconnect hose!!! and then i have to hold the throttle in the start position plus hold this other piece wide open and i have know idea what that piece is. I have picks i will put of that piece. Then the damn motor leaks crazy gas or oil. whats happening????? Sorry no photo. its directly behind the choke and throttle it looks kind of like the choke but rotates differently. it has something sticking up from it also. i think the choke is suppose to connect to it somehow. there is a bolt that has a spring on it screwed into the carb. when that piece touches it the motor dies. or if the throttle goes to far left. i am clueless. it is a gamefisher 5 hp motor. '83 number i believe is 217.586613. thanks.
