Stopped by the local Lowes to see if they had Araucaply. They called the supplier, and everyone is on a waiting list for arauca and they don't know when they'll get it. I'm in no hurry since I'm still in the planning stage.
They CAN get 1/2" AC southern yellow pine for $37 a sheet. Anyone have any knowledge of AC s.y.p.?
Thanks, and everyone have a fun and safe holiday weekend!

I'd avoid the SYP, it'll warp if you just look at it wrong!

See if you can get an exterior grade fir plywood instead.

Better yet, check with some of your local lumber yards (not Lowes or HD) and see if they have any MDO plywood. It's better than the Aruco and completely waterproof.

Do you have a Menards nearby? I was at my local Menards today and they had a good selection still.

Thanks, I'll avoid the SYP. No Menards around here, but they have some other lumber yards that I'll check with.

Ask about Floor Underlayment. Very stable, remains FLAT and the glue used in the lams is 100% waterproof. Lots of guys use it to restore their boats here on the forum.
