another prop pitch question 25hp evinrude

I have a 14ft aluminum boat with a 1985 25hp Evinrude long shaft. Right now it has a 10X13 pitch prop on it. At WOT it's doing 29MPH(GPS)and reving like hell with myself and my 2 boys in it. I haven't tached it yet but feel pretty sure it's close to top RPM by the way the wake looks.(more like a jet blast rather than a nice clean wake) I figure I might be able to get some more speed out of her. Has anyone put a 15 pitch prop on one of these or is that to agressive of a pitch for an engine like this. Right now it's got tons of holeshot.

Your best bet is to post in the prop forum, but you need to tach it out and see what your WOT RPM's are. The range on that motor is 4500-5500 and the closer to 5500, the better. I've never swung a prop with more than 13 inches of pitch on that motor

29mph with an adult and 2 kids.... I wouldn't worry about whatever it's doing, that's incredible speed for a 25.
