You answered one of my posts yesterday--I'm the one with the Yamaha 200 HP OX 66 with the strong exhaust smell to it. I was working on the motor today and I want to see what the correct procedure is for adjusting the oil pump rod ??? I looked at everything today--yesterday it looked like the clip was broken, but looking closer at it, it isn't broken. I measured the gap in between the stop and the oil pump (distance in-between the stop and where the pump is set at with a feeler gauge set and it was 95,000th of an inch. I wanted to see how I can make the throttle valves fully closed and I don't know what to disconnect. I have a service manual and I don't see this procedure listed in the manual, unless I overlooked it. Also, when it is properly adjusted right, what is the ratio of oil when the motor is at idle ? Thanks for your help.

Steffysdad
