Well after tirelessly searching this forum and using it to diagnose my problem, I have been unable to find the part numbers for the parts I need to replace.
To start off, I have a Sportjet 90HP in a 1993 Donzi Medallion, it was turning over but was not getting any spark. After doing the diagnostic testing that I found on this site, I was able to determine that the trigger had gone bad. The motor already has the red stator upgrade. When I pulled the flywheel I found that every magnet on the flywheel had come loose, likely from moisture weakening the glue over time.
So, my first question is this, would the bad flywheel cause the trigger to OHM badly, or is it unrelated? Second, what is the part number of the flywheel and trigger that I need? Because I have the red stator I am under the impression that the parts I need are not the OEM ones that originally came with the boat.
The only marking I could find on the trigger is the number 749029, but I cant seem to find a replacement part with this number, and CDI electronics doesnt list any replacements for this trigger.
The flywheel has the marking CC2149 cast into the inside of it, there is another number stamped into the starter tooth ring, but it has been stamped over with "AAAAAAAAAA" and I cannot read what is below it, not quite sure what is going on with this.
So to sum it up, I need the part number for the flywheel and trigger that I need, any other advice/direction would be greatly appreciated.
