Bought the Harbor fright Timing light. Idle timing degrees is .

Minus 40 degrees. That is the good news. A Retarded timing due to a sheared flywheel Crescent key. Oh well. Have the mechanic pull and replace the parts.

Might as well have him replace the propeller drive pin also. I have stopped the engine by using a boulder & the prop. While idling across a shoal area.
They are very difficult to remove if only 1/2 cut thru.
