I have a 2004 Four Winns with a 5.0 GXI and have been having starting problems after I have run the boat for awhile. Always fires right up when cold. Now I have a new problem was idleing around while fishing and the boat just quit. Had to get towed back to shore. Can get the boat to run if I give it throttle and keep feathering it. Have had fuel pump problems before and replaced fuel cell last year. Only have 170 hrs on boat. Does this boat have an IAC? Could that be the problem?

A bad IAC will not let the engine idle. It will start but quit. When it starts and then you give it gas it will run. If it has a IAC it will be near the throttle body.
