Hi all, first off, i've found this website to be incredibly helpful thus far. I've tried to do my homework and think I've read every thread about tachometers that has been written for yamaha outboards on this site and others. So here is my deal. I have a 2004 F90 w/ 704 controls and the tach is not working. One thing i noticed when looking in the back of the tach is that there is no green wire connected (thought I had read that green was the tach signal). I can take a picture this afternoon and post it if that will help. FWIW, the trim gauge isn't working either. I'm the second owner of the boat and the original owner claims everthing did work up to 2 years ago. It is a faria tach gauge w/ noticable condensation beneath the bezel. Can someone instruct me how to figure out if the tach is bad, or if there is an issue with the wiring/signal to the tach? Can I use a multimeter to test if there is any juice flowing to the unit, if so how exactly do you do that?? I think I read a thread on here that suggested something like that, just can't find it right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, DAVE
