Any reccomendations for a good antenna for Sirius? I had a plastic one and it kept coming loose last year.

Where is the antenna going to be used?

What unit do you have?

Anyway the the little magnet antenna's work good you can velcro them also.

Don't by an antenna seperate you can get the home or car kit which comes with an antenna for the same price.

RP, I had the terk SIR5 shown on that page. It was an OK antenna but the plastic wore loose from folding it down under the mooring cover and then it would flop around when we were cruising. One time it fell off and was dragging in the water!

PB, I am going to use it on my boat. Some fresh some salt. I have a kenwood direct wired unit behind the helm.

Thanks for the help guys.

Frog if the antenna it self is ok, simply replace the mount. You can get them in nylon or stainless.

Antenna Mounts
