We are putting the boat in the water next weekend at a local slip. It will be in the water until September or October of this year. Water is a river in West Virginia. We have not had the keel painted with anti-foul and are hoping to put it off until the winter since the boat will most likely go back to the dealer for any warranty work needed, winterization, and storage. The boat is a Bayliner 245 so it is trailerable. What I am looking for is advice for a wax or polish which could be used for the first summer until we get the boat keel painted. I can trailer the boat and take it back to the house regularly as needed for pressure washing. I am hoping wax or polish will make this cleaning process a little easier. Any suggestions or advice??

Re: Anti-fouling paint options

Super Slick from the Overton's catalogue. It's a non curing wax. Any traditional wax is blasted off almost instanly by water.
Also there is a product called VS-721 from this place: http://www.auroramarine.com/ I had never heard of it nor have I seen it. But search for a supplier in your area, maybe there is one closer than Catawba Island, OH!
