Anti-freeze question

When winterizing my 3.0 Mercruiser, I've been using the pink stuff. After searching the forums, it seems that guys are saying that a corrosion inhibitor should be added to it? Does anyone know of one that is for sale commonly in the supply stores? I live in Michigan, and have a Boat U.S. nearby.
I don't want to use automotive type, due to it getting into the water table when drained.

Thanks,
Bob

Thanks for the reply. I've been using the cheap RV/ Marine pink stuff...didn't know quicksilver made some also. Is it non-toxic?

Re: Anti-freeze question

There is no standard for anti freeze color.
Ethylene glycol is the auto stuff and is toxic to mammals.
Propylene glycol is for RV's and boats and is used as a humectant in food.
Both taste about the same..sickly sweet.

Read the labels.

Re: Anti-freeze question

There ARE RV type antifreezes out there that include inhibitors.

Check out the label here,
