Hey guys I was changing the lower gear oil on my SX drive and was curious if you guys suggest putting marine grade anti seize on the bolt or if that’s not recommended?

I wouldn't, it will be removed every year or at least every other year

I would however, recommend a new o-ring each time. I order them 3 at a time so I have them on hand.

I coat the threads liberally with OMC triple guard grease when putting mine back in for the season. figuring it might prevent seizing and give a little bit of sealing between the water and oil.

The thread will be exposed to oil.----I see no need to add any potions.

And if you haven’t done so already, swap out the OE drain plug for one that requires a hex key, aka Allen wrench to remove
