I traced my fuel line from the seperator canister to the tank and on the tank there is a 3/8 hose barb fitting. Removed the fitting and found a check ball inside. Is this my anti siphon valve? I pushed ion the ball with a small flat screwdriver and had to all but break it free. I had only 3800 rpm on tach before. So I was diagnosing it. if this is not my anti siphon valve the what is it and could it be a low rpm problem?

Yep, it's the anti siphon valve. If it's sticking, replace it, they are very inexpensive.

Cars don't use them, but NAPA does carry Sierra marine parts. should be ten bucks or so.
