Antifreeze in exhaust ports

Just pulled off the exhaust manifolds and discovered antifreeze in the manifold exhaust section and in the exhaust ports of the engine block.

I have tested the exhaust manifolds and there are no leaks. Liquid cooled closed system. No sea water.

Is this a sign of a blown head gasket? Will a simple compression test show if there is head gasket leak to the exhaust?

2009. 5.7 liter mpi. Closed cooling circuit.

Possibly..... Also a leak down test would tell you if there is a problem. You can also pressure check the block/anti freeze side of the system and see if it leaks down.
Why you removing them to begin with??

I pulled the engine due to some wiring issues on the boat. Noticed the antifreeze when I pulled the risers off.

What's a safe pressure to leak down test it? I would hate to make a problem that isn't there.

Is your manifold cooled with coolant or raw water. Could be that when you pulled the riser, it just dripped into the exhaust passage. Have you been losing any coolant?

With closed cooling, the cap should have a rating in it,15# or so. I go over the rating a few pounds for testing them.
