I replaced the riser with brand new, gasket and all, torque 55 ft/lb. The manifold is good, dry. No antifreeze in the oil.
The heat exchanger is tested good, no holes.
When refilling with antifreeze, when it is filling the riser reservoir, it runs through the exhaust hole on the starboard side and through the water intakes holes of the leg??? The level stays with the top of the exhaust manifold.

Any ideas? or at least I need a drawing or something to figure it out.
Thank you.
Steve.

are you sure you didn't accidently switch any of the hoses when you put it back together?

Re: Antifreeze leaking through the Leg A1

I do not think they use a block off any longer. It did occur to me that if the AF is running out of the outdrive, the manifold may be full and antifreeze may have leaked into the cylinders through an open exhaust valve. I think it might be best to pull the plugs and turn the engine over must make sure you don't hydrolock or have water sitting on top of the piston. #4 is especially vulnerable. Should probably check asap.

Closing this thread.
I was wrong - the heat exchanger was frozen and leaked inside, sending antifrieze out through exhaust.
Thank you all for your input.
Steve.
