So I went to winterize my boat and I noticed as in the past the antifreeze was a little low and this has been a summertime issue after replacing the head gasket exhaust gasket the intake gasket and exhaust riser gasket . Every time I start up the boat you can clearly see the antifreeze shooting out of the exhaust it lasts for about 10 seconds and it's pretty much the same amount that's missing 1 pint . So somehow any phrase is leaking I guess into the exhaust add when you start the boat shoots out the back . Do you think it’s the exhaust riser gasket (new) failed . I may redo the riser and exhaust gasket next spring

I 'm thinking the riser gasket failed.... and is leaking into the exhaust . What is the proper way to replace it without letting antifreeze leak into the pistons.

Can some one tell me what gasket I should buy. I have a feeling I have the wrong one on the engine now.

Serial numbers are below the picture of the gasket I installed and
and the riser pictures are the old gasket from what I remember.

27-18272 is the gasket, use the Merc graphite gasket, not the green paper. Drain the system and pressure test. Did you check the heat exchanger?

Winterizing involves pulling the aft plug on the hx...1 minute if you're missing 3 fingers
