Antifreeze turned to gel

Purchased a boat recently that had been sitting on land, winterized, for nearly a year or so. Have run into issues with fresh water systems and head caused by the antifreeze sitting, which has turned gelatinous (sp?). I also think this has caused issues with heat/ac systems. Has anyone run into such issues and if so anything available that would safely break this matter down?

i've seen that happen with pink rv antifreeze. Some parts of the antifreeze can evaporate out, leaving the pink slime. As soon as it mixes with water it dissolves though, so it generally isn't an issue.
