was wondering if it is worth it too go to a composite like pirahna I am in a lot of shallow lakes. has anyone used them what is the good the bad the ugle on them, thanks
Welcome to iboats.

I had a Comp Prop on a 15' trihull/60 Evinrude. Loved it. But eventually hit some rocks and that was that. Replacable blades woulda been nice, but they were all damaged. I don't know how they do on sterndrives. I've never seen one with one on it.
I have used Comprops for 10yr on I/O and OB.On plane quicker and plane at lower speeds. They will get dings like aluminium but you smooth them out with a file the same way. Guess I'm lucky but I have never broken one. You will lose a little top speed, maybe 2 to 4mph.
