I have some type of oil/fuel leak somewhere. Just by inspection from the outside, I can't tell where it is coming from. I don't think it is a huge leak, but I just would rather have no leaks at all! Everything is so cramped in my engine that I can't really inspect all the hoses that are down stream from my VRO. I was wondering if I should take off my engine head and clean everything up really good and then start looking for a leak somewhere. I don't know if it is from a hose or a gasket, from the carb, or somewhere else.

This is a free country, so you may do anything you want. Removing the powerhead is a bit radical for what you want to do however. How about you remove some of the stuff that keep you from seeing the leaks. Most leaks are around the carb bowl gasket, and are caused by defective floats, inlet needle or seat.
