Any guess on my model of Thompson?

All I know is that is a 1976 Tri Hull Outboard. I'll post a picture as soon as I can find one. It has a rounded bow (as in not squared) and is 17.5 feet. Any guesses without a picture?

Have you looked for a HIN# usually on the starboard upper transom.

Re: Any guess on my model of Thompson?

This is my first post and I actually have the same question about the same boat. The pic you posted is exactly like the boat I just got from my father-in-law. The title that he gave me says it is a 1970. You say yours is a 1976, so now I am confused. I wonder if Thompson kept the same exact hull design for that many years?

I have attached a few pics so you can see for yourself how close the boats resemble each other.

Re: Any guess on my model of Thompson? (BUMP)

Hello again everyone. I just wanted to bump this post up again to see if anyone might have any information on these boats.

The two look almost identical in the pics, but I have not been able to find out much else about mine.

I have the motor running great but found some transom rot that has to be repaired before I can put it in the water.

Any info would be most appreciated.

Looks like a hull design from my 1968 Woodson 18' Dual Cathedral out of Coral Gables Fla.
