Any Help Would Be Appreciated Volvo Penta DP outdrive

I have a 1998 Regal Commodore 258 with a Volvo Penta 5.0 with a Volvo Duo Prop. I’m having trouble removing the shaft hub. Needing to replace the seals in it. I’ve checked YouTube but they don’t show how to remove the “keeper ring?” It’s a wavy looking ring in front of the hub. Yes I’m new to this thing. Thanks in advance for any advise or help.
