Fisher, well I have no experience, but I have my 75 Merc. on a 16.5 foot boat which is the same size boat as the one on e-bay. My boat is a 2002 Lund aluminum boat and it has plenty of power. Max is 90 HP on mine but 75 was saving a considerable amount of money. I think you will be happy with the package. The 16 gallon should be fine for day trips or a weekend. Mine has a 27 gallon for some reason and can hold 6 persons max, yours 5. Everything depends on your uses for the boat. Just watch you fuel consumption, these aren't exactly fuel efficient.Sorry if I got off topic. Forgot to add that I also have a Lowrance fish finderwith the same features it is GREAT.

OK, I am not really good at this stuff. Going off the price of my boat and then a few years older average price I would guess around $10,000 looks like a great boat and everything I would not pass up on it if the price was right. He says that he'll give it to you for a lot less than $10,000 which he invested in it. If he sticks to his word I would go for it. Just make sure it fits your budget don't get in too far even if it is a good deal. I paid more than 10k for my boat (new). Then added bimini top fishfinder custom cover and 8HP kicker (it is identical and looks awesome). I paid about 15k total after the extras added on etc. If I was in the market and saw this in my area I would not be able to pass it up. I hope this helps you in your purchase.
