I have just purchased a 1995 sunbird sizzler Jet propelled Unfortunately user manuals etc were not available when I bought it I believe it has an inboard Mercury Engine in it label on top of the engine says 1977 140H.P. And Spark advance 28 degrees Does anyone have any technical info on the boat or paperwork at all that would help me maintain it. At the moment I cannot even locate the engine number. Thanks in advance.

A 1995 boat with a 1977 motor, go figure. The 28 degree is total timing advance not idle setting

Being a Jet drive of a 1995 it is probably a sport jet but would need more info to verify

Wow Thanks !! I was surfing doing some investigation there isn't a lot out there but I cam across this ad for another sizzler with photos and some specs. My engine is the same as the one pictured in the ad only its HP is greater ?? Unable to verify from pic, but did notice its listed as an OMC, so disregard my links above, there for Merc

Doing a search for omc sportjet they keep showing up as Mercury sport jet
