Ayuh,... It might help,..
But,...
I'd rebuck the existing rivets, replace the missing rivets, 'n coat the seams with Gluvit...
Then, if ya like bedliner, go ahead with it...

Bedliner does not flow. It will eventually separate, we have heard of many problems with separation, does not look good after the next year and nightmares of future repairs.

Gluvit is the best epoxy after rivets (that need it) are re-bucked.

I know it is not on my list of things I would do to an aluminum hull.

The other problem with the bed liner is that it adds a bunch of extra weight and it can make the boat very hot on a sunny summer day,...

Its kinda like globbing silicone or 4200 around leaky cleats or through hulls... Its NOT the Right fix ( its not a fix at all ).

Fix the rivets correctly and then you wont have to prep the whole boat for some crazy coating/fix :) .

OK then...glad I asked LOL....sounds lke a bad idea!....Ok so last yr my boat would take on about 5 gallons of water in front section and then one day I was loading on a windy day and got off center and sheared a nice hole in v front...anyway I had a local boat place fix it and they made a whole new V piece from bow eyelet down to where boat flattens out on bottom which was welded solid and rivited on and leak tested....and he redid a few rivets that were leaking too...well anyway first time out on lake after I still took on water....so then i set boat level in driveway and filled halfway up with water and waited a few hrs and looked for leaks and found a few rivets that were leaking and just applied some marine stuff he gave me to rivets that leaked and after that everything looked great...well lo and hehold I still have a leak somewhere...not nearly as bad anymore, but yet still a damn leak!....what kind of rivets does one use and what kind of gun does it take?
