Any way to get rid of Wasps?

Well, I finally got my project boat uncovered, and I found 2 large nests of wasps hanging out.<br /><br />I managed to kill them, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a trap or method that will keep them away?<br /><br />I've tried all store-bought traps with no success. These traps work excellent on yellow jackets, but not wasps. In fact, I haven't seen any "wasp" specific traps.<br /><br />It would seem the wasps are not interested or too darn smart for the yellow jacket traps.<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />H.

I found that if I take the boat out and go fishing every single weekend, the wasps and other bees, will not mess with my boat.

LOL!<br /><br />You guys are too much...!<br /><br />Kinda hard to take the boat out with no stringers, engine, etc... <br /><br />AS far as minorities? There isn't any out here. Most of them 'round here can't afford to live where I do!<br /><br />H.

All due respect Homer, but if you boat is setting long enough for bees to move in, then you working to slow, and need to pick it up a little. Just kidding!!

I heard you can glue moth balls to the undersides to keep wasps away<br /><br />but they are really REALLY small, its pretty tedious going! <br /><br />(No moths were harmed in the production of this post. Please refer all hate mail to The Society To Prevent Moth Mutilation)<br /><br />

I founst the bestn way to keepn them that creatures away, and anyother creature, is to sat maw by the place I don't want anythingy around. <br /><br />Dont no whatsn it isn, but it sure wurks.
