Any way to tell year and model number with serial number?

I've picked up a Jonson 15hp that is missing the serial tag / plate. The serial number stamped on the motor plate is G3276750. The title says its a 1992, but based looking at the cowling and parts it seems to be at least a 1993. How can I accurately order parts without the model number? I can add more images if that would be helpful.

The 1993 models and newer had a top mounted recoil.----Post more pictures of your motor !!

Heres a few more of the motor, I've already got the carb pulled for rebuild (as soon as I can figure out which kit to order) and need a new air box as someone had drilled a bunch of holes in it. The starter button is also not hooked up so I'm guessing there's something wrong with that as well. Thanks for the help!
