Anybody have a diagram?

Im looking for a diagram, or at least someone to explain how the plumbing is ran on my 1978 Ranger 178v bass boat. I have a leak somewhere, but I'm not sure how the pipes are ran once they exit the gas tank storage area where i can see them. After the pumps, it turns to pvc but then i am not sure how they are routed throughout the boat. It has a rear live well and a front live well. Thanks for the responses in advance!

Not a joke, if nobody has a diagram they can't post it. Just by dealing with many boats,they are all differnt to a point. Have you tried to contact the mfg for any diagrams? Or how about some good pictures of the parts we can see,maby we can get ya going in the right direction....

I checked my crystal ball and didn't come up with anything.

Check with Ranger boats. They might have some ancient diagrams in their files.

I was waiting for someone to post a link to his other thread. One of the first things I do when I come across someone making a scene or losing their cool is to check out their other threads - usually consistent content and fairly entertaining. :lol:

I could tell you but you seam to have the same attitude of most bass holes. Take it to the nearest ranger dealer and drop it off.

There is a remote possibility that someplace there is a diagram of the plumbing....but.

After being in the industry from long before that time I can tell you there were rarely any plans or diagrams, plus things like this could be done differently by each person assigned to the task, or changed weekly as needed for the type of equipment they purchased that month.

Even if there was a diagram it may not even be close to accurate due to how things were done back then (and still done by some builders).

I'm a little confused as to why you think 88 random boaters would know more about this than you do, probably none of them have a Ranger boat, and for a fact I can tell the chances of one of them owning or needing to know this info about 1978 Ranger would be very remote, lottery odds or worse.

If you wait patiently someone may still be able to help you though.

We all don't have time to get everyone the exact answer they need in less than an hour. If you want an answer immediately then buck up and go to a dealer. A forum is FREE help for a reason.
