Re: Anybody use Gmail?
Google mail. Free email account like yahoo or hotmail. Originally free for the asking while they were beta testing it, then no more accounts were allowed. Then Google opened up again for anyone willing to share their cell phone number with the option of specifying "never sent to my cell phone". Google is posturing to make a move on wireless data sharing, hence the need for phone numbers. You can have your gamil (email) fwd to your cell phone. Anyone with gmail can refer up to 100 other people and those 100 folks will not need to give a phone number.

Gmail comes with about 4gb of disk space. It has some powerful archive and search routines for organizing email msgs. I use gmail for my personal email, can be accessed anywhere from any computer at any time, and the msgs stay on Google's disk space, unless I choose to down load to my disk.
