I'm an airplane dude, but those cars are awesome. I love watching those shows. Some of those cars going for over 500g's is incredible, and to me, an equally beautiful one with a few minor flaws goes for 20g's! Wow!

If I'm going to spend money on an old car, I want to be able to drive it! Those things were made to drive! Just like old planes, either restore it and put it into a museum, or fly it, but don't restore it and have it re-rot away in a hangar somewhere. Planes need to be flown, like cars should be driven!

I try to watch BJ everytime they are on, I just love to drool over the nice rides they have. It's fun watching other spend $$, but I kind of agree with you, if I buy a older car (Chevelle's rock) I'm driving it like I stole it!
BJ seems to have a great market for the product they sell, even with all the premiums they charge, folks still have income to spend on this stuff.

I like to watch some of the BJ auctions but I gotta say, a lot of the prices baffle me.

That's the thing, BJ is not the pulse of the old car market. Lots of excitement, hype, tv coverage and lets not forget Amy:D, help jack the prices up. The problem is, alot of people who have the same car that goes across the block for $100k thinks theirs is worth the same. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching BJ, but, I also know the prices are ridiculous...

I've been watching it too. Some really cool cars, but I agree the prices are a little crazy. Seems like it's on all the time now.
