I have a Eldebrock 600 CFM quad and need a good website or doc that shows how to get the needles adjusted under load? Any help out there?

Ayuh,.............

No Doubt it's a Great site for info on the old AFB Carbs...........
Which of course are the Same as the Merc./Weber/Eldebrock Performer/Carter AFB Carbs........
The #s,+ the Parts pretty much are a Direct Interchange between All 3 of them......

The proper way to tune a carb requires doing 'plug cuts'. That is where you put in a new set of plugs and operate the engine at a particular speed or load and turn off the ignition and put in neutral at the same time. By then pulling several plugs and inspecting them you can get an idea of what the mixture was at that load and RPM. Tan to light brown is good.
White is too lean, and gray to black is too rich. This should be done for off idle, Midrange and WOT in that order. Hope this helps.
