Anyone have any luck or expereince with low water pickup for tohatsu 90 TLDI?

I have a 2003 Tohatsu 90hp TLDI on my tunnel hull flats boat and it is jacked up very high. the bottom of the skeg is even with the bottom of the boat and am considering a low water pickup to help get better water. Any experience with it in this motor would be greatly appreciated.

You can install a jet drive LU if you really need to. Results in some loss of HP, but is quite tolerant of abuse. Elvin may have experience with an actual low pickup on the stock LU.

The engine can be fitted with a low water pick up....Just like anything else can. Contact Bob's Machine Shop.
