I like the Congoleum vinyl plank flooring and was wondering if anyone here has it. I can't find a detailed product description and want to know if it's a solid vinyl product or more of a laminate with wood product backing like Pergo. This is something I am considering for the finished basement floor instead of regular vinyl tile.

Aren't there any detailed descriptions available at their website? www.congoleum.com

As an aside, if you want a vinyl floor that looks like teak, have a look at www.flexiteek.no
This stuff can even be sanded down. The cost of buying and laying it probably makes it better suited for boats, though.

Mark you might want to consider bamboo flooring a little pricey but works very good in damp locations as compared to wood swelling and contracting in a basement
