I recently bought a boat & trailer . It's a 20' fiberglass boat. not sure what model , but i found a manufactures tag as i was ripping up the rotted floor . it must have fallen off over the years . anyways i was just wondering if anybody knew about DUO boats the model # is DV 170 O-B & the serial # is 17631. I was hoping someone could give me a little info on the boat to make it easier registering it. like maybe the model name or the weight . I looked on the net but couldn't find anything.

I grew up skiing behind my Grandfather's Duo boat. It was a 1968 18' Trihull runabout with a 1969 100HP Envinrude. It was a great boat. I wound up replacing the floor and the interior when I got older. My parents finally sold it a few years back. I too always wanted to learn more about the boat and the company without much luck.

I forgot to say... I THINK that it was made in Indiana. Mine wasn't a tri-hul... conventional V, soft chine. I loved the way that it would roll up on the side in a hard turn. You'd think it was gonna turn over but it never did. It just came on around and scatted on down the river. I think I have a picture of it somewhere. If I can find it I'll scan and post it.. was white with a blue topside.
