Anyone heard of the brand Hidea

Hey,
Just wanted to know if anyone has heard of the brand Hidea i think it is a chinese make but to sure about it.
I was given one does not look very old and runs well just wanted to know if anyone had any info on them ? could not find much
Was considering using it to replace my ageing johnson auxillary motor.

1st time that I have seen a Chinese outboard but if they are anything like their motorcycles I would stay away. The motors are usually a clone and for the most part are pretty good. It's all the other parts that are junk and hard to get. Is there an actual dealer (and a store front) and service available for these or is some guy selling them out of a rented storage unit. I know there is absolutly no support for their atv's and motorcycles and all the parts have to be ordered from China if available at all. Just peruse CL and look at the used Chinese atv's and scooters for sale, they all seem to come with a spare for parts. Not a good deal if you have to buy 2 to run 1.
