Anyone kn ow how to test a detonation control module.

I have a 150 efi mercury. It doesn't idle when its warmed up. perfect on wot. i think the detonation control box is going bad but im not sure how to test it. any ideas???

Best test is to remove it, set you WOT timing to 23 deg and run it. If everything is back to normal then put the module somewhere you'll forget about it.

thanks for the help. ive changed the ecu and still didnt fix it. i will try this. it just doesnt like to idle.
