I'd be grateful for any advice on the 1993 Evinrude Intruder Engine on a boat that I am very close to buying. Is this a reliable engine? Does anyone know (or know where I can go to find out) how much fuel it will burn? Is it prone to any particular problems?<br /><br />It is mounted on the stern of a 1981 Sea Ox cuddy, which I am told weighs a ton. I will run it in salt (brackish) water.<br /><br />This is my first "real" boat and I am almost totally inexperienced. I've read a lot of posts here and you guys know your stuff. Many thanks for any advice you can offer.
