Anyone know about wave raiders?

I'm looking at purchasing a 1996 wave raider 760. Most of what I've heard and read is that it's a pretty good ski, pretty reliable. One negative I've read is that they are unstable at slow speeds, especially with two on. Also a pretty wet ride. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

But yeah, a friend of ours said the 1100 of that ski is just stupid fast and a bit hard to control. But he also said with the 701 or 760 motor it's a fun ski and yes two people on it will make very unstable since it is a rather small ski.

I rode one the other day with a hopped up 760, it was scary fast and fun. It's perfect for one person to just tear it up and have fun. But then again I am a light person, so test driving to see how you like it would be your best bet.

I have th701 deluxe model. Yes it is a wet one, if you get it i would recomend splash deflectors. As for reliability. I am the second owner bought it in 200 no troubles for the past nine years until my sister didnt put the plugs in a pretty much sank it. Does mid 50s on the water. I wegh 230 and easily ride with my wife who weighs 120. Slow speeds you learn good balance.
