Thinking about trying these. Here on I-boats they're blowing out their 2004 Hustler "performance" aluminum propellers. I can get an exchangeable hub, a 14 1/4 x 17 prop, and a 14 1/4 x 19 prop for about $140.

Putting on my 1992 3.0 liter runabout to replace my 15 year old bent, chipped, and worn OEM stainless.

Seems like a heckuva deal for an inexpensive exchangeable pair of props. Anyone out there have this setup? Easy to change housings? Reliable? Any problems? Thanks to anyone with experience with these props.

i like the hub system the 14 x 19 is pretty much the MAX size on a 3.0 unless your running a very light load

tommays

I have one on my sterndrive. After I bought it, my stock type Michigan Wheel became my spare. The Hustler runs circles around it.

Last year, I bought a 14 1/4 x 17 Hustler aluminum prop and hub from iboats for my 5.0L (220HP) Mercruiser/Alpha 1. I do a lot of watersports. The prop has performed very well. No complaints. You will not find a better deal on this prop than at iboats.

Keep in mind that an aluminum prop will not perform as well as a stainless one, iboats also has stainless props on sale.
