Looking for a reputable prop shop to fix my prop. Live in Southern Wisconsin, or one I can ship to that you might recommend from personal experience.
Thanks

This guy is local (to me) but he does work for clients all over the USA.
I'm extremely satisfied with his work, and he's very reasonable.
He's rebuilt my AL 3 blade prop more times than I can remember!

I guess I should have told you, don't email bblades, they take forever to return an email. Call and ask for Brad or Brett.

This is where I send all mine too, very good price, quick turn around, and more importantly a good product. $45 for a 19p Aluminum with decent damage.

We have used the Windsor Prop shop quite a few times with great results. In fact they have the prop off my boat in for repair as we speak. Every winter for the past 14-15 years, my dad sends his props up to be trued, Lake wisconsin sandbars can be unfriendly.

They're located in the town of Windsor between Deforest and Sun Prairie. If you've nicked up a prop, and need it repaired, they are the go to guys. SS, alum, 3 blade, 4 blade, doesnt matter.

The cool thing is you can drop the prop off at NAPA in Baraboo, Windsor picks up the prop, repairs, and delivers back to NAPA.

This would be very convenient for us as we drive through Baraboo on the way to the cabin....what do they charge?

Re: Anyone know of a good prop shop in Wisconsin?

The last aluminum prop i had fixed there was missing 1/3 of a blade, and the other 2 were well chewed, If memory serves, it was $65.

The dual SS Bravo 3 props on the dads cruiser run about $135 each to be redone.

NOTE**** I just called NAPA to ask for the phone number for Windsor Props, as the one listed in the phone book has been disconnected. Dave at NAPA informed me that they have NEVER used the Windsor Prop Shop, and that Mikes Prop Shop out of Madison has, for the last 10-15 years, my prop repairs.

Ive been under the terrible assumption that it was Windsor that did the work, but this is not the case. Over the years, all the complements i've thrown around have been directed to the WRONG shop!!!!

I called Mikes Prop Shop, to check out the pricing, and it is spot on with what ive paid in the past, so this leads me to believe that this has been a bad assumption on my behaf, for a very long time. Now that i think about it, until today, ive never actually called the shop, i just drop off my busted prop with dave and pick it up once its done. All of my prop buying has been done online or through the dealer. Im sorry to have mislead anyone.

Mikes Prop Shop has been doing a fantastic job, and i never knew it!!!!
