Does anyone know of a place that I can trade my 30hp Johnson for a 60hp or higher outboard? I have heard that the smaller motors are of a higher demand so someone might want to trade but I dont know. My engine is a 1992 Johnson J30RENR. It has a 13 pitch prop. Set up for tiller steer. It runs excellent, pumps water well, looks brand new under the cover, and the powerhead was replaced two years ago. If anyone on this forum wants to trade or knows someone who wants to trade, then tell me. I am looking for a 60-100hp outboard with or without controls. It has to be in good running condition. Preferably late '70s and up. Must come with prop.

Try this site! Go to the boat motors tab at the top right of the page and call them.

Bob

Hi, Fox.

While the smaller engines are in demand, that doesn't mean that they would be priced the same as the mid-size engines.

You should expect to add cash to your 30 in order to get a 60 that is in usable condition.

Good luck. :)
