Anyone know where I can find this part...?

I'm looking for the black plastic back cover for a cobra outdrive. The cover that goes over the water pump. Mine is all smashed up, fiberglassed back together, and is falling apart. <br /><br />If I can't find one, other than looking bad, is there any reason I could not just run without it on? Looks like it's really only cosmetic...<br /><br />Thanks (again).

you can always brush some epoxy on both sides and kind of rebuild it.Charlie

Have you tried Twin City Outboard, they have I/O stuff also.
