Anyone own a Homelite 330 chainsaw

Just rebuilt the carb on one of these for a neighbor. Don't have a manual (don't need one for such a simple carb), but I need to know the correct mix for the fuel. Homelite website doesn't address these older models. Newer Homelites run 50:1 according to the website, which I still wouldn't do. Anyhow, anyone know?

I used to have an old homelite xl, great saw. I think the mixture was more like 24:1 though. You might call a local power equipment dealer or small engine repair shop. Good Luck :)

I don't know if this will help but I have a homelite blower and it runs 40:1 I believe.

Thanks everyone. I'll start with 32:1 and if it bogs and smokes too much then try 40.

i forgot about this, i had some info at home, but was at work when i noticed it. anyhow, i picked up an ole homelite mid80's CS-50 that i love.

1-800-242-**** (i edited. those last 4 =4672) that # should hook you up. i got xeroxed copies of manual & parts diagrams for free. and the manual did specify (pg16 #1e "we urge you to use homelite 32:1... oils formulated for air cooled 2cycle engines at 40:1 or 50:1 ratios can be used at the homelite specified 32:1 ratio[ 4oz/gal]) :)
