I had a chance to ride an air chair last week while on vacation.
Looking for tips!
I got where I can come up easily every time and ride nice and controlled with the board flat on the water and keep it that way. I can steer myself back and forth and make the board rise up out of the water, and bring it back down with control. I can steer it around while the board is up in the air too.
I want tips on riding this thing in general, because it takes a lot of concentration for me to ride. But, I also want tips on jumping the hydrofoil out of the water and landing it. If I ride up too high and the hydrofoil pops out of the water, it starts hopping. Sometimes I can hop a few times and save it, but it's mostly luck and determination. Not skill or knowing what I'm doing.
I'd love to figure this thing out. I think it could be a blast! I have a shoulder that hurts me often when I do some hard kneeboarding, but I don't think the air chair will bother it.
For only 3days with it, I think I'm doing ok., but if anyone has experience I'd love to hear tips!
